Connie Hayes is also a major mentor for me. Her work, as well as Peggy Kroll's, is very simplistic and summarized. However, her pieces are a little more completeted than Peggy Kroll's. Viewing her work may help me to develop a slightly more itemized/completed style.

This image by Peggy Kroll is especially inspiring to me. My pieces look very similar to hers. We both use simple shapes and lines to create a summarized, as opposed to an itemized, painting.
